Taste of Hawaii - 2008
The Beach House Restaurant participates in this annual culinary event, which showcases over 60 of Hawaii's best chefs from restaurants and resorts throughout the Hawaiian islands. This "Ultimate Sunday Brunch" is sponsored by the Kapaa Rotary Club. The Rotary Club sets aside a portion of the proceeds from the event each year to fund scholarships in the Culinary Arts. The 20th Annual Taste of Hawaii will take place on Sunday, June 1, 2008, on the grounds of Smith's Tropical Paradise in Kapaa. |

Hoonua O Ke Kai Surf Contest - 2008
The Beach House Restaurant donates use of its beachfront property and serves up complimentary food to all beach-goers attending the Hoonua O Ke Kai Surf Contest in front of the restaurant at Lawai Beach each year. This fun-filled amateur surf competition, sponsored by the National Scholastic Surfing Association, takes place each summer near the end of July or the beginning of August. 2008 will mark the 10th year of this ocean event. Concert in the Sky - 2008
The 4th of July Concert in the Sky is an annual fundraiser that takes place at Vidinha Stadium in Lihue to benefit Kauai Hospice. The Beach House Restaurant offers up great food at this event, along with several other top Kauai restaurants and resorts. Live entertainment and a fireworks display set to music round out this evening of fun. Friday, July 4, 2008 will mark the 19th year of this traditional Kauai holiday event. |
